Making Disciples Conference

April 25 @ 8:00 am April 27 @ 5:00 pm UTC+0

What is the most important agenda until Christ returns? Making disciples!

This duty is all-encompassing. It involves families: “The father shall make known Your truth to the children” (Isa. 38:19). It involves churches: “commit [God’s word] to faithful men who will be able to teach others also” (2 Tim. 2:2). And it involves every country on earth: “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations” (Matt. 28:19).

The goal of the Making Disciples Conference is to address this full spectrum—to foment and fine-tune, by God’s grace, the practice of disciple-making in our homes, in our churches, and around the world.

The conference will look with joy at our positive duties, but also plainly address where we’ve fallen short: So why are there so many evangelicals and so few disciples? Why is there such biblical illiteracy among people who call themselves Christians?

The answer—which will be examined in depth—is for us to forsake apathy and embrace the discipleship mandate Christ gave, just before His ascension:

“And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, ‘All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.  Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen.’” (Matt. 28:18-20)

Though the bigness of this charge can be daunting, the good news is this—Christ promised to be with us “always” as we make disciples in His name!

Come and join with us at Ridgecrest as we explore this expansive life mission.
